Somervell County Expo Center 

North side of Highway 67 at Gibbs Blvd., Glen Rose, Texas

Glen Rose is about 55 miles southwest from downtown Fort Worth and 75 miles from downtown Dallas
Free Admission!

Schedule: all events are FREE admission

Friday      8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.    

      7:30 p.m.  Lecture: Tom Vance on the Ellis County Mammoth Site.   Excavation he worked on last year.                                                 

Saturday 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.   Hourly door prize drawings. 
               7:30 p.m.  Fossil auction and raffle prize drawing.

Sunday   9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

One of the longest lasting annual events in Glen Rose.  Fossilmania is a show with vendors dedicated to fossil and fossil related materials and anything relating to paleontology. You will find fossils, books, maps and tools for sale.  There will be dealers from all over the country.

Tickets are $1.00 each or 6 for $5.00 (You need not be present to win!)

Fossil Rim Wildlife Center - Endangered animals sanctuary gives you an opportunity to see some of the rarest animals in the world up close. Gift shop, restaurant and petting pasture.

The DPS is a group of professional and amateur paleontologists that want to exchange information, interact, and continue their education in paleontology.  We meet once a month on the second Wednesday evening of the month at Brookhaven College, Building H.
