February 27th, Waco Pit.  Our guess trip leader Nathan VanVranken..  Meeting place,  McDonalds 4503 Interstate 35 North, Waco Texas. Kids and non members are welcome. 

This is Del Rio Formation, Cretaceous Epoch. What you can Find? Some shark teeth, small echinoids, micro ammonites, occasional starfish, nautilus hoods, fish bones, and misc other invertebrates..

What to bring? Sack Lunch, water, extra shoes, socks.Sometimes the pit gets very muddy). Contact Polly at pollym@airmail.net   903 916-0083

Who we are

The DPS is a group of professional and amateur paleontologists that want to exchange information, interact, and continue their education in paleontology.  We meet once a month on the second Wednesday evening of the month at Brookhaven College, Building H.
