JACKSBORO! Great family trip.

May 12. This is an open trip!! Time. 8 am until 12:00 PM {noon}

We will meet at the town square at 8:00 am. After we group up, we will caravan to the park entrance to pay the fee. Then proceed to the parking area. There is nice ½ mile walk over the dam, climb a barbed wire fence, walk across a field to the hillside. BEWARE: possible snakes!!!

If you bring your children, there are NO potties! Go before you get there! Watch your children. DPS is not your babysitter!!!

Member Bob Williams will lead this trip. Bob is very knowledgeable of this area.

There were many on the Jacksboro trip last time that had never been to the area before. The great thing about Jacksboro is the diversity of the specimens you can collect there. Here are some items from Jacksboro.

1) Gonioloboceras   2) Mooreoceras    3) Strobeus sp.

4) Lyphophyllidum.spinosum 5)  Domatoceras sp. or Titanoceras sp.  6) Otodus varibilis
